USEF Pegasus Awards: Two Very 'Special Nights' for the Sport of Reining

The USEF has named the 2010 Horse of the Year and Equestrian of the Year awards. Each a hugely prestigous honor, Gunners Special Nite, owned by Sarah Willimen and shown by Tom McCutcheon took the top two honors. HorsePower is thrilled to have been a part of these historical occasions and is proud to have served as the official organizing committee of the WEG Reining discipline.

A momentous year for FEI Reining, at the USEF annual meeting Pegasus Awards banquet, Tom McCutcheon, representing Reining is named Equestrian of the Year! Truly remarkable and a sign of great things to come for our sport. Congratulations Tom!

United States Equestrian Federation, Pegasus Award for Broadcast Media:
The 2010 USEF Pegasus Award for Media in the broadcast division has been awarded to the 2010 World Equestrian Games. Reaching tens of millions of new fans for our sport and more hours on a major network than ever before, the productions at the WEG have helped to change the sport forever. HorsePower is proud to have been a part of these amazing Games and this award-winning production. Major kudos also go out to telecast producers and seasoned professionals Carr-Hughes Productions. Plus, a huge note of gratitude to the AQHA for their sponsorship of the event, which went directly to television time-buy for the sport of Reining.
