Texas Classic-"Not Just Another Horse Show"

There is truth behind the saying the Texas Classic is "Not Just Another Horse Show."

The second day of Texas Classic cutting proved to be exciting and filled with intense competition. The industry's top names came out in their efforts to clench the final qualifying points for the AQHA World Championship Show, not to mention those NCHA purses attached to each class. Scott McClurg and Neat Little Cat were the 2010 Texas Classic Cutting High Point Champions and were presented with a beautiful hand-crafted Skyline Silversmiths belt buckle. Skyline Silversmiths is an industry-leading company that prides themselves on the finest designs and craftsmanship.

Wednesday, May 26, the John Justin arena, presented by Sea Ridge Farms, will transform into a showcase of hunter jumpers. Showing the true versatility of the American Quarter Horse, the day will feature working hunter, equitation over fences, hunter hack, and hunter under saddle plus pleasure driving and jumpers. Exhibitors will be competing for the coveted High-Point award, an Antares helmet and a chance to win an Antares Hampton Classic or Antares Spooner Saddle, compliments of EquiVenture Tack & Apparel & Antares Sellier-maker of fine custom English jumping saddles, leatherwork and state-of-the-art helmets.

Its true, the Texas Classic is "not just another horse show" thanks to our loyal competitors and generous awards sponsors like Skyline Silversmiths, EquiVenture & Antares Sellier.
